= bounds checkконтроль границ, недопущение выхода за [заданные, указанные] границыотладочная опция компилятора, позволяющая при помощи добавленных им в объектный код программы дополнительных команд обнаруживать попытки обращения к несуществующим элементам массива с выходом за его объявленные границы. Поскольку лишние команды проверки индексов массивов сильно замедляют скорость работы, программа после отладки перетранслируется с отключенной опцией контроля границ.
